PHYSICAL THERAPY
Evaluation:
Assessment of musculoskeletal system including muscle strength, muscle length and structural alignment.
Core Strengthening:
Progression
from beginner to advanced core stability exercises with emphasis on
improving strength and balance on a bicycle. Focus on home exercises,
including ball, bands, and weights.
Stretching/Exercise:
Learn
safe and effective stretching and exercise techniques, focusing
specifically on muscles involved in posture and performance with
cycling. Beneficial for off-season gym program.
Posture Correction:
Detailed posture analysis both on and off the bike with specific exercises and stretches taught.
Injury Rehabilitation:
Manual therapy, SI and other joint mobilization, soft tissue work, neuro-muscular activation and passive stretching as needed.
